[A] Scope of Service:
1) The successful Proposer will bill for EMS First Responder services in a timely manner, pursue receipt of payments of accounts conscientiously, and provide excellent customer service to citizens/customer with billing questions or problems.
2) Fire Department Information:
- Incident Responses: 7 Fire Stations 2008, 9722 total, 7,210 EMS
- 7 Paramedic Engine Companies 2009, 9549 total, 7,142 EMS
- 2 Ladder Companies 2010, 9753 total, 7,233 EMS
3) Contractor shall invoice patients within three (3) working days of receipt of billing information.
4) In accordance with coding provided by the City, Contractor shall have the ability to create fully itemized statements showing all procedures and supplies.
5) To provide human contact for patients requiring assistance, Contractor shall provide a toll-free telephone number.
6) Contractor shall have the ability to handle third party pay or submissions and inquiries regarding insurance claims.
7) Contractor shall electronically convey all Medicare and Medical invoices to the appropriate payer
8) Contractor shall maintain records that are in accordance with generally accepted bookkeeping and accounting principles.
[B] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be offsite; Contractor needs to carry work on their office premises.
