[A] Scope of Service:
1) The vendor shall provide instant live over-the-phone language interpretation services ("Interpreter Services") for a minimum of 100 languages. Primary languages will include Spanish, Polish, Mandarin and German. Interpreters must provide accurate and complete first-person interpretation and be proficient in all languages used.
2) Translation services will also include written document translation, video American Sign Language interpreting, demographic research, and interpretation over the phone for customers interacting face-to-face with staff.
3) Translation Services must be available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Primary business hours will be 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday with extended operation as needed. Sufficient interpreters must be available to assist with 800 to 1,000 calls per month.
4) Interpreters must maintain the confidentiality of all customer information and must be trained in emergency response procedures. Calls may be recorded to ensure quality.
5) The vendor shall provide document translation as requested within 24 hours of the request.
[B] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be offsite; Contractor needs to carry work on their office premises.
