[A] Scope of Service:
1) The contract period is from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012.
2) For the first six months of the year 2010 we requested translations for more than 85 documents. The total number of files (including both translations and reviews) totaled more than 1,000.
3) Translators assigned to translation projects will read and understand the English source document; translate it (i.e., accurately translate the idea being conveyed, not word for word) into the assigned target languages.
4) Translators will read and understand the entire body of the text and will research any unfamiliar terms, phrases, program titles, or subject matter in order to render an accurate, correct translation.
5) We will e-mail English-language source documents as Word documents to the Contractor
6) Before sending the translation(s) to us, the Contractor‘s proofreader/editor must do the following,
i. Translate for accuracy,
ii. Translate for completeness,
iii. Translate for consistency,
iv. Translate for correctness,
v. Verify that the translation is of high quality
[B] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
[C] Eligibility: Global, companies from anywhere in the world can apply for this.
[D] Budget: Looking for proposals
