[A] Scope of Service:
1) The successful firm will submit error-free claims to Medicaid and generate a report for each billing cycle and additional reports upon request, and provide services to research denied claims and reconciliation of all Medicaid remittances in coordination with the District.
2) The successful firm will edit, check, and correct claims before submission identifying eligible children and service providers in participating districts, collecting the needed data may include district made forms, electronic and web-based data and preparing and submitting claims for payment such that Medicaid reimbursements are maximized. The District prefers an on-line management system for all billing and reporting
3) The successful firm must be willing to evaluate current reimbursement methodology for school-based medical services and provide the District with an estimate of revenues that might be expected by using the District as a partner in the billing system and provide advice and recommendations on operation of program to ensure maximum success.
4) Firm shall work with state and federal officials as an advocate for enhanced Medicaid payments and services.
5) Firm shall work with the District to develop a plan of implementation and be able to have a representative meet with groups as needed to help facilitate implementation of comprehensive billing system.
6) Firm shall provide a fully automated electronic submission of Medicaid information that eliminates paper and simplifies the billing process.
7) Firm will maintain compliance with all federal regulations regarding Medicaid billing.
8) The electronic system must be able to accept electronic data file for billing from web-based student database Internet Explorer 7 (password protected) or higher.
9) The database shall generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for auditing, accountability and reliability purposes.
10) The system is able to maintain files as required by Medicaid.
[B] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
