[A] Scope of Service:
1) Contractor who will provide transcription services that include all four services: formatting, graphic artist (tactiles), transcription and proofing services for Reading Language Arts / English-Language Development (RLA/ELD) adopted instructional materials.
2) The contractor shall provide all labor necessary to provide formatting, transcription, proofing, and tactiles services to produce Braille versions of RLA/ELD state adopted instructional materials.
3) The contractor should be able to produce and provide transcription services for 200 titles, which range from 200 page workbooks to 1,000 page student edition textbooks, by October 1, 2011
4) The Contractor shall provide all necessary work to transcribe RLA/ELD instructional materials into Braille on an as-needed basis. There are currently over 15,000 adopted RLA/ELD titles that may or may not need to be transcribed into Braille during the course of this contract.
5) The contract period is from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.
[B] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
